The eurypterid database contains extensive
information on the habitats, possible communities and stratigraphy of eurypterids
from the Llandoverian and Lochkovian. The data is derived from the
work of Roy Plotnick (1999). The following fields are used in the
database and each one is easily searchable using the preset options provided:

The results of each search are split such that the locality details of one eurypterid genus are displayed at a time and the full search results can be viewed by clicking on the file icon in the top left of the screen.
Example: Enter Search mode. Select USA from the country field, select marl from the lithology field and select find. The database will find all eurypterid occurrences from the USA in marl sediment.
Alternatively, all records can be
browsed in Table mode.
