Order Thelyphonida
Morphology
- 20-70mm in length but the
largest species Magistroproctus can reach 85mm
- Six legs are used for walking
while two serve as sensory organs
- Possession of scorpion-like
pedipalps
- One pair of eyes at the fornt
of the cephalothorax and three located to the side
- Carnivorous, nocturnal hunters
