Location

In the 1970s some dinosaurs were found in a part of Canada that would have been inside the Arctic circle when the dinosaurs were alive (in the Cretaceous (gl)). This increases the lattitudinal range of dinosaurs from 110 to 135 degrees.

Some people have claimed that dinosaurs could not have lived within such a wide lattitudinal spread, that is into the colder regions in the north and south, without being warm-blooded.

However, today's reptiles have a 120 degree spread and taking into account the warmer Cretaceous climates, a spread of 135 degrees is acceptable.
