Departmental Meetings | |||||||||

We hold weekly meetings during term time, the Palaeontology Discussion Group (PDG), every Friday at 1 p.m. Visiting palaeontologists give talks in the PDG
series, or ad hoc (and advertised locally by e-mail), or as part of the Departmental Seminar Programme, generally held on Thursdays at 4 p.m. There are also pub talks some weeks. The talks are open to all, and they attract a regular cohort of 30-40 palaeontologists. Advanced undergraduates and Masters students are encouraged to attend and to join in the discussions.
