The Bristol Palaeobiology Group accepts a number of PhD students each year. We have a large school of PhD students at any time, and we like to appoint three or four each year. Topics are posted here in November each year.
For British applicants, we generally receive six NERC studentships each year, for all earth sciences topics, and interviews are held in February and March. Overseas applicants may be eligible for support through a
University of Bristol
Postgraduate Research Scholarship (for EU applicants)
or an Overseas Research
Scholarship (for non-EU applicants). It is also worth looking for scholarship support from your
own country. Overseas applicants may select a topic from the published list, or devise a new topic
